An established NYC-based nonprofit is seeking a Senior Fiscal Analyst to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a nonprofit grants accounting professional who understands the full lifecycle of government contracts — from compliance and budget management to month-end close and funder reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a grant portfolio of approximately $25M
• Perform detailed budget-to-actual variance analysis
• Prepare and review contract billing and supporting documentation
• Communicate directly with funders and participate in monthly meetings with program leadership
• Process budget modifications and ensure month-end close is completed prior to billing
• Ensure compliance with city, state, and federal grant requirements

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of grants/contracts accounting experience within a nonprofit organization
• Strong knowledge of government funders such as HOPWA, HRA, and HUD
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP)
• Experience with PASSPort
• Strong understanding of compliance, reporting, and government reimbursement billing
