Business Reorganization Paralegal

Location: Tallahassee, FL (Onsite)

Experience Required: 5+ years

A reputable law firm in Tallahassee is seeking an experienced Business Reorganization Paralegal to join its team onsite. The ideal candidate will have a strong background supporting attorneys in business restructuring, workouts, and Chapter 11-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with business reorganization, restructuring, and bankruptcy related filings.
  • Prepare and file pleadings, schedules, statements, and other required documents with state and federal courts.
  • Conduct legal research and gather financial and organizational information from clients.
  • Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and document management systems.
  • Communicate with clients, creditors, and court personnel to support case progress.
  • Organize and prepare materials for hearings, meetings, and negotiations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a paralegal in business reorganization, restructuring, or bankruptcy law.
  • Strong understanding of Chapter 11 processes and related procedural requirements.
  • Excellent drafting, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and electronic court filing systems.
  • Must be able to work onsite in the Tallahassee office.
