Our client in the Construction industry is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis.

This role will focus on managing the full-cycle AP process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoice processing, vendor communication, and payment tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

•   Prepare and process company credit card charges, including matching credit card receipts to different types of job codes (no prior job cost/coding experience required)

•   Entering receipts from credit card transactions

•   Communicate with the supervisory team regarding any questionable expenses

•   Research AP vendor statements

•   Support the accounting department with other projects as needed

• Great attitude and ability to hit the ground running with prior knowledge
