Outside Sales Executive

A growing business services organization is hiring multiple Outside Sales Executives to support continued expansion in the Jacksonville area. This is a full-time, field-based B2B sales role focused on generating new business and developing client relationships across service-based accounts.

This opportunity is well suited for sales professionals with experience selling recurring services and a strong new-business mindset. Backgrounds in facility services, uniform services, pest control, commercial cleaning, maintenance services, or similar industries are especially relevant.

Position Overview

The Outside Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying prospects, building a pipeline, and closing new business. This role is centered on outbound prospecting and face-to-face selling, with a strong emphasis on cold calling, networking, and territory development.

New hires will complete an initial training period by shadowing an experienced sales representative before transitioning into independent territory management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities in an assigned territory
  • Conduct cold calls, networking outreach, and other business development activities
  • Research target accounts and identify customer needs
  • Schedule and lead meetings with prospective clients
  • Present service offerings and explain value propositions clearly
  • Negotiate agreements and close new business
  • Address objections and respond to client concerns professionally
  • Partner with internal team members to support sales strategy and client onboarding
  • Maintain accurate activity tracking and follow-up throughout the sales cycle
  • Share market feedback and prospect insights with leadership and internal teams

Required Qualifications

  • 1 to 2+ years of outside sales experience
  • B2B sales experience preferred
  • Experience with cold calling and new business development
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited day-to-day direction
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Associate degree required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience selling service-based solutions
  • Background in facility services, pest control, commercial cleaning, maintenance services, or similar industries

Compensation

  • Base salary: $55,000
  • First-year on-target earnings: $80,000 to $90,000
  • Uncapped commission structure
  • Established sales professionals may earn significantly more based on performance

Work Model

  • Full-time
  • In-person, field-based role
  • Day schedule
  • Travel within territory up to 75%

Training and Interview Process

  • Structured onboarding with approximately two months of field shadowing and training
  • Interview process begins with an assessment, followed by an in-person interview
