About the Role

A leading global organization in the heavy-duty transportation and specialized equipment sector is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to support its commercial operations team. This role is responsible for assisting with the quotation, order processing, and shipment coordination of specialized equipment used in demanding transportation and logistics environments.

The Sales Support Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and efficient sales operations while working closely with internal sales teams, customers, vendors, and logistics partners. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the quotation process, collaborating with the sales team to develop timely and accurate equipment proposals

  • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, verifying pricing, product availability, and shipping details

  • Enter and maintain order and invoice data within the company’s ERP system, coordinating order information with the Accounting team

  • Communicate with internal sales representatives and customers regarding order status, delivery timelines, and potential delays

  • Coordinate with vendors and logistics partners to arrange shipment and delivery of equipment orders

  • Maintain accurate records of sales orders, quotations, and shipping documentation in the company database

  • Support the sales team in responding to customer inquiries, providing product information, and helping resolve customer concerns

  • Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate invoicing, payment processing, and invoice uploads to customer portals


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field preferred

  • Experience in sales administration, order processing, or logistics coordination

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with CRM or ERP systems

  • Familiarity with shipping regulations, customs procedures, or international trade is a plus
