Job Title: Cash Applications Analyst

Job Summary:
Responsible for reviewing and analyzing cash application receipts to ensure accurate and timely processing. Researches and resolves payment discrepancies, maintains data accuracy in shared files and financial systems, and supports process improvements to increase efficiency in cash application operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify cash application receipts for accuracy.

• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, including over/short payments and missing documentation.

• Maintain and update shared files, data tables, and financial records.

• Process cash receipts when necessary, including credit card and miscellaneous payments.

• Assist with improving procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.

• Perform additional accounting-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience in accounts receivable, auditing, collections, or cash applications preferred.

• Strong Excel and analytical skills.

• Knowledge of accounting systems and financial data management.

• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
