A growing wholesale distribution company based in Manhattan is seeking a Chief Financial Officer. The organization supplies products to major retailers and operates with a lean, entrepreneurial team. This role will work directly with ownership and play a key role in guiding financial strategy and business performance.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Review financial reporting and provide insights and recommendations to leadership
• Oversee the full accounting function including month-end, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and inventory-related financial trends
• Partner with ownership on strategic planning and operational decision-making
• Manage and mentor a lean accounting team
• Strengthen reporting processes, systems, and financial visibility across the business
• Maintain relationships with banking partners, auditors, and external advisors

Qualifications
• Experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or senior finance leader
• Strong background within wholesale distribution environments
• Experience supporting companies with $50M+ in revenue
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Ability to translate financial data into strategic business recommendations
• Hands-on leadership style with experience working within lean organizations
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MBA preferred
