We are seeking a Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable function. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments while maintaining strong internal controls and compliance with company policies. The Accounts Payable Manager will also lead and develop a team while working closely with finance leadership and other departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor payments.

  • Supervise and mentor the accounts payable team, ensuring productivity and accuracy.

  • Ensure timely month-end close related to accounts payable and accruals.

  • Review and approve invoices, expense reports, and payment batches.

  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Resolve vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships.

  • Assist with audits by providing documentation and support as needed.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

  • Collaborate with accounting and finance leadership on reporting and cash flow management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

  • 5+ years of accounts payable experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and internal controls.

  • Experience with ERP systems and accounting software.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing high-volume invoice environments.

  • Prior experience improving or implementing AP processes or systems.

  • Ability to lead teams and drive operational efficiency.
