Accounts Payable Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Coral Gables. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Process high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently

• Perform 3-way matching (PO, invoice, and receiving documents)

• Ensure timely invoice approvals and payment processing

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

• Maintain accurate and organized AP records and documentation

• Assist with month-end close and accruals

• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment inquiries

• Monitor aging reports and ensure compliance with payment terms

• Support audits by providing required documentation

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience

• Experience with high-volume invoice processing

• Strong knowledge of 3-way matching and AP processes

• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (ERP preferred)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication skills

Preferred

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Compensation & Schedule

• $23/hour

• Monday – Friday (standard business hours)
