A high-end residential construction firm is seeking an experienced Project Accountant to join its growing team. This role partners closely with construction operations and senior leadership and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and enjoys owning the full accounting lifecycle for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage client billings using AIA G702/G703
• Manage purchase orders and subcontractor requisitions
• Review and process change orders and RFAs
• Track and calculate retainage per contract terms and schedule timely releases
• Request, review, and process subcontractor invoices
• Ensure COIs are compliant and up to date
• Prepare and issue monthly requisitions
• Coordinate timely payments to subcontractors upon client receipt
• Verify insurance and contract requirements
• Maintain accurate project cost data in Sage 300
• Collaborate closely with project managers and operations

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction accounting experience
• Sage 300 / Timberline experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
