Job Title: Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
Location: Orlando, FL (Onsite)
We are seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join one of law firm clients. This onsite position requires a detail oriented professional with strong organizational skills and extensive experience supporting attorneys in commercial real estate transactions. The firm offers excellent benefits, a competitive salary, and a robust bonus structure.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development.
- Draft, review, and revise real estate documents such as purchase and sale agreements, leases, closing binders, estoppels, and amendments.
- Conduct and review title and survey work; identify issues and coordinate resolutions with attorneys, title companies, and surveyors.
- Coordinate and manage due diligence, including collecting documents, preparing summaries, and organizing files.
- Prepare closing documents, coordinate closing logistics, and assist with post?closing tasks and document organization.
- Maintain and update transaction checklists to track progress and deadlines.
- Communicate professionally with clients, lenders, vendors, and internal team members.
- Perform legal research as required and assist with other paralegal duties to support the commercial real estate practice.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm setting, specifically focusing on commercial real estate.
- Strong understanding of title, survey, and due diligence processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.
- Excellent communication, time-management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work onsite full-time in the Orlando office.
- Detail oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
- Paralegal certification preferred, but not required.
