Recruiting Coordinator (High-Volume Recruiting)

📍Fully Onsite– 2 days in Middletown, DE & 3 days in Wilmington, DE

💲$25/hour| Full-Time | Non-Exempt (Overtime Available)

This is a fully onsite positionrequiring a split schedule between two locations:

  • 2 days/weekin Middletown, DE
  • 3 days/weekin Wilmington, DE

 

About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading transportation and logistics organization, is seeking aHiring Coordinatorto support high-volume recruiting and onboarding efforts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and can manage multiple priorities while delivering a strong candidate experience. You will serve as thefirst point of contact for applicantsand play a key role in ensuring a smooth, compliant, and efficient hiring process.

The ideal candidate will have1+ years of experience in high-volume recruiting, specifically supportingblue-collar roles within high-turnover environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supporthigh-volume recruiting efforts
  • Conduct applicant follow-ups, schedule interviews, and confirm attendance
  • Serve as the primary contact for walk-in, phone, and online candidates
  • Guide candidates through the hiring process, expectations, and requirements
  • Manage and trackpre-employment screenings, including:
  • Background checks
  • Fingerprinting
  • Motor vehicle records
  • Drug screenings and physicals
  • Maintain accurate records and tracking logs usingExcel and internal systems
  • Review screening results and escalate as needed
  • Prepare and submit new hire documentation for onboarding
  • Ensure all files are complete, compliant, and properly documented
  • Support local recruiting efforts (job fairs, community outreach, signage, etc.)

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience inhigh-volume recruiting or administrative support
  • Experience withbackground checks or pre-employment processingpreferred
  • Strong customer service mindset with a professional, positive demeanor
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability tomultitask and prioritizein a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency inMicrosoft Office (especially Excel)and online systems
