Title: Quality Assurance Technician - 2nd Shift
Location: Pedricktown, NJ (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $22/hour – $25/hour

2nd Shift Hours:  Mon-Fri, 2pm to 12pm ; 1-2 Saturdays per Month, (40 hours work week + Overtime).

About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on Quality Assurance Technician to join a growing food production facility specializing in natural and organic beef products. This role ensures adherence to all quality and food safety programs while supporting continuous process improvement. You will work closely with production teams and management to maintain the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor production for compliance with HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs, and food safety programs
• Perform routine quality and safety checks on raw materials, in-process, and finished goods
• Conduct sanitation inspections and verify critical control points (CCPs)
• Collect samples for microbiological, chemical, and physical testing
• Maintain accurate QA records, logs, and reports
• Assist with audits, product holds, releases, and investigations
• Train production employees on food safety and quality practices

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in meat processing or high-volume packaging lines preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work in cold environments (27°F – 45°F) and lift 40–50 lbs
• Knowledge of OEE software a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required
• Ability to follow safety regulations, SOPs, and GMP guidelines
