Accountant – NYC (Midtown, On-Site)

Comp: $75K–$80K+ base + 10%+ bonus
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 9–5 (100% on-site)

Overview

Well-established, highly reputable professional services firm in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a Bookkeeper / Accountant to join a stable, long-tenured finance team. This role reports to the Controller and supports attorney billing and core accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process attorney billing (e-billing & paper)
• Review prebills and ensure compliance with billing guidelines
• Monitor billing progress and follow up as needed
• Support AP/AR and general accounting operations
• Provide billing support to ~15 attorneys

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience (AP/AR/Billing)
• Strong E-Billing experience required
• Proficient in Excel; experience with ProLaw a plus
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
