Job Title: Yard Operations Lead (Marine/Terminal)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on Yard Operations Lead to oversee daily cargo handling and yard activities in a fast-paced outdoor environment. This role requires direct involvement in operations, including equipment operation and cargo securing, while leading a small team to ensure safe and efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day yard and cargo operations
• Operate forklifts and support equipment as needed
• Oversee loading, unloading, and securing of cargo (breakbulk, loose, mixed cargo)
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
• Coordinate with operations teams to meet shipment timelines
• Train and guide yard personnel on best practices
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of terminal, port, or logistics yard experience
• 1+ years in a lead or supervisory role
• Experience with breakbulk or non-containerized cargo
• Forklift operation experience required
• Strong understanding of cargo securing and rigging
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
• High school diploma required; degree preferred

Compensation:

• $30–$35/hour ($62K–$72K annually) [OT is available]
