A well-established, NYC-based importer and distributor of specialty food products is seeking a Manager of Accounts Receivable to lead collections, cash application, and AR operations. This is a hybrid role based in Manhattan, requiring 3 days on-site. 

Responsibilities:
• Oversee collections, cash posting, and deduction/dispute resolution processes
• Monitor team performance, establish KPIs, and drive accountability
• Partner cross-functionally with sales and customer service to resolve delinquent accounts
• Support new customer onboarding and credit term evaluations
• Lead audit preparation and support external audits
• Identify process improvements and implement best practices/automation
• Manage, mentor, and develop AR staff

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of accounting experience with strong AR focus
• Experience managing or mentoring staff
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations
