A boutique accounting and tax firm is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its team. The position will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with core accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger activity
• Assist with month-end close and related accounting tasks
• Support day-to-day accounting operations including transaction review and documentation
• Help ensure financial records are accurate and properly maintained
• Assist the accounting team with various reporting and operational accounting needs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or similar field
• 1+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online
• Strong Excel skills
