A well-established, privately held transportation services organization with a nationwide footprint is seeking a Recruiting Supervisor to lead high-volume, multi-site hiring efforts. With decades of operational excellence and a strong focus on safety, service, and community impact, the company supports a large and growing workforce across multiple business lines.

Position Overview

The Recruiting Supervisor will oversee full-cycle recruitment operations while leading and developing a team of hiring coordinators. This role plays a critical part in building scalable talent pipelines, improving hiring efficiency, and partnering with leadership to address workforce demands across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts from sourcing through onboarding across multiple sites
  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive candidates
  • Manage, mentor, and train recruiting team members to ensure consistency and performance
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and drive hiring outcomes
  • Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates for experience, skills, and cultural fit
  • Build talent pipelines through job boards, social media, job fairs, and community outreach
  • Maintain accurate recruiting data, reporting, and compliance documentation
  • Oversee pre-employment processes including background checks, screenings, and onboarding
  • Monitor market trends and adjust recruiting strategies to remain competitive
  • Represent the organization as a brand ambassador to ensure a strong candidate experience

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of high-volume recruiting experience (multi-site environment preferred)
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (recruiting leadership strongly preferred)
  • Experience managing distributed teams and supporting field-based hiring managers
  • Strong proficiency in ATS/HRIS systems (Paylocity experience a plus)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and reporting tools
  • Experience with background checks and pre-employment screening processes
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Associate's required)
