Overnight Manufacturing Utility Technician (413874-KW)

Schedule: Rotating schedule (2 days on / 2 days off / 3 days on / 2 days off – repeat)
Shift: 7:45 PM – 8:00 AM (Night Shift)
Start Date: ASAP


Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented General Utility Associates to support our manufacturing operations. This role is critical to keeping production running efficiently by ensuring materials are available, inventory is tracked accurately, and finished goods are properly prepared for shipment. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment-ideal for candidates with prior manufacturing experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support production lines by supplying materials and removing finished products
  • Build and organize pallets for work-in-progress (WIP) and finished goods
  • Accurately track production counts and inventory throughout the shift
  • Assist in monitoring downtime and reporting causes
  • Ensure proper packaging materials are used based on product specifications
  • Stage, load, and label shipments to ensure accurate and timely delivery
  • Load and unload trucks as needed
  • Perform basic quality checks using visual inspection or tools
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (6S standards)
  • Complete required production and inventory documentation
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production and safety goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Required: Prior manufacturing experience (warehouse experience alone is not sufficient)
  • Plastics manufacturing experience is a strong plus
  • Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts on a rotating schedule
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed
