Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join a growing manufacturing organization. This role is a hands-on, onsite position supporting a fast-paced operation, partnering closely with leadership to drive HR strategy, employee engagement, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will be a strong generalist with leadership experience, comfortable working both strategically and tactically across all HR functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts to attract and retain top talent
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and selection criteria
  • Analyze workforce data (headcount, turnover, trends) and recommend actionable improvements
  • Administer employee lifecycle processes including promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations
  • Oversee salary administration, compensation planning, and annual performance management cycles
  • Support and drive talent development and training initiatives aligned with business goals
  • Manage employee relations, including coaching, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of HRIS data, employee records, and compliance documentation
  • Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and exit interview processes
  • Collaborate with safety leadership to support workplace safety programs and initiatives
  • Represent HR in matters related to workers’ compensation, unemployment, and compliance
  • Supervise and develop HR team members

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
  • Proven experience in a hands-on HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist role
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, compliance, and HR best practices
  • Experience with HRIS systems (ADP, SuccessFactors, or similar preferred)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven leadership and team development experience
