Client Relations Specialist (Logistics)

Location: Inglewood, CA - Onsite

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to support a fast-paced logistics environment specializing in time-sensitive and temperature-controlled healthcare shipments. This role combines logistics coordination with client support, ensuring shipments are handled efficiently while delivering a high level of service throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including time-critical and temperature-sensitive deliveries
  • Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate updates, delays, or issues to clients and internal teams
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing timely responses and high-quality service
  • Work closely with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth pickup, customs clearance, and final delivery
  • Prepare and review shipping documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards (GDP, IATA)
  • Maintain detailed records and tracking information within internal systems
  • Handle urgent requests and last-minute changes with professionalism and efficiency

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, customer service, or supply chain (healthcare, pharma, or clinical trials experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of international shipping processes and customs procedures
  • Experience supporting clients in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
  • Familiarity with temperature-controlled or cold chain logistics is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics or tracking systems
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours when needed
