Accounts Payable Specialist (Concur | Nonprofit)

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist with experience in Concur and a background in the nonprofit sector. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments in a mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Perform 3-way matching (invoice, purchase order, receipt)
• Manage expense reports and reimbursements using Concur / SAP Concur
• Ensure proper coding of invoices to GL accounts and cost centers
• Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries
• Assist with payment processing (ACH, check, wire transfers)
• Reconcile AP accounts and assist with month-end close
• Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and internal controls
• Support audits by preparing documentation and reports

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Hands-on experience with Concur (SAP Concur preferred)
• Experience working in a nonprofit, NGO, or 501(c)(3) organization
• Strong understanding of AP processes and invoice lifecycle
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP)
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with grant-funded environments
• Knowledge of nonprofit financial compliance and reporting
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
