Overview:
Seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Admin to support high-volume payroll operations (600+ employees, bi-weekly) in a fast-paced nonprofit healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll accurately and on time, including salaries, deductions, and adjustments
  • Review onboarding payroll/tax documentation for accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to payroll policies and procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality of payroll records
  • Post payroll entries to the general ledger
  • Prepare and maintain payroll reports (OT reports, 941 reconciliations)
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
  • Support payroll audits and reporting needs
  • Maintain organized records, files, and schedules
Requirements:
  • 6+ months of payroll, data entry, or accounting experience
  • Understanding of payroll laws and tax regulations
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis)
  • Experience with payroll systems (Paypro preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish (verbal) preferred for employee support
