AP Specialist (APFTL-JR)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a rapidly growing organization in the construction space. This is a high-volume, hands-on AP role best suited for someone with strong processing experience and a stable work history.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process high-volume accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently

  • Review and code invoices, ensuring proper approvals and documentation

  • Manage vendor relationships, including subcontractors and contractors

  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

  • Assist with month-end close processes related to AP

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records

Qualifications (Must Meet One of the Following)

  • Experience in Accounts Payable within construction or subcontractor environments, OR

  • Experience using Sage (Sage 300 preferred) or Procore

  • Strong Accounts Payable experience in any industry with consistent work history and minimal job hopping

Additional Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience

  • Experience in high-volume invoice processing environments

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting

  • Stable work history is required

Preferred

  • Experience with Sage 300 and/or HH2 software

  • Background working with contractors or subcontractors

Important Notes

  • This is an individual contributor role — not suitable for supervisors or managers looking to step down

  • Fully onsite position near Fort Lauderdale Airport
