Senior Accountant
Location: Broward area
Schedule: Full-time | Monday – Friday
Work Setting: Onsite

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This role will play a key part in month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger management while working closely with internal teams and leadership.

Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including financial reporting and variance analysis
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring
• Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience (corporate or public accounting)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
• Experience with accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications
• CPA or CPA candidate
• Experience in [industry, if applicable]
• Experience with process improvements or system implementations
