About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join a growing team in Boca Raton. This role will focus on preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and supporting tax planning initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in public accounting or corporate tax and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns (corporate, partnership, and/or individual)
• Assist with tax provisions and quarterly estimates
• Conduct tax research and stay current on regulatory changes
• Support tax planning strategies to optimize financial outcomes
• Work closely with accounting teams to ensure accurate financial data for tax reporting
• Assist with IRS and state audits, including gathering documentation and responding to inquiries
• Maintain organized tax files and ensure compliance with deadlines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 2–5+ years of tax experience (public accounting preferred)
• CPA or CPA-track preferred
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
