Purchasing Specialist, Fort Lauderdale

Our client is a growing and highly stable organization in a regulated industry is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Inventory Purchasing Associate to join their team. This is a key role partnering directly with senior leadership, including the CFO, to ensure seamless purchasing operations and inventory flow.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage the full purchasing cycle: sourcing, issuing POs, and tracking deliveries
  • Procure raw materials, packaging, and operational supplies based on forecasts
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to optimize pricing and lead times
  • Reconcile vendor invoices against POs and receiving documentation
  • Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory data within ERP systems
  • Partner with accounting and operations to align purchasing with budgets and inventory needs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies related to orders, deliveries, or invoicing
  • Support inventory tracking and controls to minimize disruptions

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bilingual fluency in English & Spanish (required)
  • 2–4+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management
  • Strong understanding of vendor management and supply chain processes
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar)
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities

 

Preferred Background:

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or manufacturing environments
  • Exposure to regulated industries and compliance-driven processes
