Job Title: Cargo Traffic Manager

Location: Miami, FL

Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 + Benefits

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cargo Traffic Manager to oversee and optimize cargo flow operations for a fast-growing international shipping and logistics company. This role is responsible for managing port-to-port cargo movement, ensuring efficiency across maritime, air, and land transportation channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily cargo traffic operations at shipping docks
• Optimize cargo flow to minimize delays and improve turnaround times
• Monitor cargo volumes, traffic patterns, and operational performance
• Collaborate with freight forwarders, port personnel, and logistics teams
• Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and customs requirements
• Lead and supervise dock and traffic coordination staff
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational bottlenecks in real-time

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cargo traffic, logistics, or port operations
• Background in maritime transportation, shipping, air cargo, or freight forwarding REQUIRED
• Speak in Spanish and English
• Strong understanding of port operations and cargo coordination
• Experience with logistics systems / TMS / shipping software
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)
