A real estate firm based in White Plains is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations for their growing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting including GL maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Lead the month-end close process and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Oversee bank, operating, and escrow account reconciliations
• Review AP/AR activity, including rent rolls, tenant ledgers, and collections
• Analyze budget-to-actual variances and communicate findings to management
• Collaborate with property management on expense coding and financial reporting
• Maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
• Assist with budgets and reforecasts; support year-end audits and tax preparation
• Manage and mentor a small accounting team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience in real estate
• Proficiency in Yardi
