Location: Miramar, FL (Onsite training, then Hybrid)

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Miramar, FL. This is a full-time opportunity ideal for candidates with strong AP experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and expertise in high-volume invoice processing.

About the Role

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing full-cycle accounts payable functions, processing a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently, and supporting the accounting team with vendor communications and reconciliations. Initial training will be fully onsite for approximately 3–4 weeks, after which the role will transition to a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Process high-volume accounts payable transactions accurately and timely

  • Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation

  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

  • Maintain accurate AP records and documentation

  • Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable

  • Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

  • Utilize NetSuite ERP system for AP processing and reporting

Qualifications

  • Previous Accounts Payable experience in a manufacturing environment required

  • Experience handling high-volume invoice processing

  • Proficiency with NetSuite ERP strongly preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills preferred

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Schedule

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week

  • Onsite training for approximately 3–4 weeks

  • Hybrid schedule after training period

  • Expected onsite presence approximately 4 days per week after onboarding
