Litigation Paralegal (79804)Overview $60,000 - $85,000/year North Carolina -- Charlotte Permanent
Are you a seasoned litigation paralegal ready to take your career to the next level?
Ascendo Resources is partnering with a prominent, full-service law firm that is looking for a talented and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its Charlotte, NC office.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-stakes, complex litigation matters alongside a collaborative and accomplished legal team.
What You'll Be Doing: • Managing all aspects of discovery and eDiscovery, including document review, production, and written discovery • Drafting, reviewing, and proofreading legal documents including motions, memoranda, affidavits, and pleadings • Filing documents across federal and state courts, both electronically and in hard copy • Cite-checking legal memoranda and researching case filings and public records • Assisting with preparation for hearings, arbitrations, and trials • Serving as a mentor and subject matter expert for junior and mid-level paralegals
What They're Looking For: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, plus a paralegal certificate or degree in paralegal studies • 7+ years of litigation paralegal experience, particularly with large, complex cases and/or government investigations • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, eDiscovery platforms (including Relativity), and case management software • Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and client service skills • Experience in a highly regulated industry or large law firm environment is a plus
