Ascendo Resources is partnering with a reputable law firm client on their search for an experienced estate and trust paralegal for their office in Charlotte, NC.

This is a great opportunity to work on complex, high-value matters in a collaborative and professional environment alongside an accomplished wealth planning team.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Drafting and preparing federal estate and gift tax returns, probate documents, estate accountings, and estate planning documents

• Reviewing, proofreading, revising, and organizing documents in estate and trust administration matters

• Preparing estate filings and other court documents

• Scheduling and participating in client meetings and conferences

• Providing analysis and strategic input on estate and trust matters

• Collaborating on team projects across the wealth planning practice

What They're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Prior experience in estate administration, including preparation of complex federal estate and gift tax returns for high-net-worth individuals

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters simultaneously

• Solid substantive understanding of estate and trust law and related documentation
