A fast-growing wholesale company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This is a high-exposure role with direct visibility to leadership and the opportunity to help build and stabilize a complex operational accounting environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform account analysis, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
• Prepare monthly financial reports, supporting schedules, and journal entries
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Handle inventory, landed cost, freight, and accrual accounting
• Reconcile ERP inventory, AP, and financial data
• Support cash forecasting and availability reporting
• Investigate ERP interface and reconciliation issues
• Drive improvements to close documentation, controls, and workflow processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Strong month-end close and reconciliation background
• Inventory accounting experience preferred
• Experience in wholesale, import, distribution, or consumer products a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
