Assistant Property Manager

Location: White Plains, NY (On-site)
Salary: $75,000-$85,000
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM

A growing real estate ownership and management firm is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support a residential portfolio of approximately 500 units throughout Westchester County, NY and Southern Connecticut. This role will split time between the office and property visits, supporting day-to-day operations, resident relations, maintenance coordination, lease administration, and collections.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for residents and address inquiries, complaints, and service requests
  • Coordinate lease renewals, move-ins/move-outs, and resident communications
  • Assist with rent collections, delinquency follow-up, and payment plan coordination
  • Track maintenance requests and coordinate with building staff and vendors
  • Conduct property inspections and help ensure properties are well-maintained
  • Maintain accurate records, notices, and resident documentation
  • Support Property Management, Leasing, and Accounting teams with daily operations

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of residential property management experience
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with lease administration, collections, and maintenance coordination
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Yardi Voyager experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Westchester County and Southern Connecticut
