Commercial Operations Coordinator

Duration: 6-Month Contract

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Commercial Operations Coordinator to support a fast-paced commercial team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining operational execution, financial coordination, reporting, and project management while working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while supporting key business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage purchase orders from creation through invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support commercial investments, budgets, and financial reconciliation activities
• Track and follow up on rebates, accruals, invoices, and budget allocations
• Maintain accurate data and records across internal systems
• Monitor project execution and ensure activities are completed within established timelines
• Consolidate reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for leadership review
• Support budget tracking and identify discrepancies, risks, or areas requiring follow-up
• Coordinate travel and expense tracking activities and assist with budget visibility
• Support commercial teams with operational requests, reporting, and project follow-up
• Assist with the planning and execution of trainings, meetings, and special events
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase operational efficiency

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in commercial operations, sales support, business operations, project coordination, marketing operations, or related roles
• Experience managing purchase orders, invoicing, budgets, reconciliations, or financial tracking activities
• Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reporting, and data analysis
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Experience supporting sales, marketing, commercial, or operations teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently and proactively solve problems
• Experience within consumer products, retail, marketing, hospitality, or related industries is preferred
• Spanish language skills are a plus
