Business Development Specialist - Orlando, FL

Overview:

Seeking a Business Development Specialist to support growth initiatives within a professional services environment. This role partners closely with attorneys, practice groups, and marketing to drive new business, support client development efforts, and manage pipeline activity.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute business development plans at the practice group and partner level
  • Track and manage clients, prospects, and opportunities within CRM
  • Support pitch development, proposals, and RFP responses
  • Maintain and update pitch materials, experience databases, and templates
  • Conduct research on clients, industries, competitors, and market trends
  • Prepare briefing materials for meetings and pitches
  • Track pitch outcomes and coordinate follow-up efforts
  • Identify visibility opportunities (events, sponsorships, speaking engagements)
  • Coordinate BD events and client-facing initiatives
  • Support reporting and dashboard tracking for leadership
  • Assist with CRM data integrity and process improvements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and internal teams

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required (Marketing, Business, Communications, or related)
  • 3-6 years of business development/marketing experience
  • Experience in legal or professional services strongly preferred
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • CRM experience required; familiarity with digital marketing tools is a plus
