We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with NetSuite, a solid accounting foundation, and prior experience within a manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, or inventory-driven environment. This role will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, inventory accounting, month-end close activities, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Perform bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations.

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports and supporting schedules.

• Maintain accurate inventory accounting records and costing analysis.

• Monitor inventory transactions and ensure proper valuation and reporting.

• Review and reconcile inventory discrepancies and variances.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

• Collaborate with operations, purchasing, and warehouse teams to maintain accurate financial records.

• Utilize NetSuite to manage accounting transactions, reporting, and system processes.

• Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

• 3+ years of accounting experience.

• Extensive hands-on experience with NetSuite required.

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • General Ledger Accounting

  • Financial Reporting

  • Reconciliations

  • Month-End Close

• Experience within a manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, or inventory-based environment is required.

• Strong inventory accounting and product costing experience.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish.

• Experience working in high-volume inventory environments.

• Knowledge of inventory controls, cycle counts, and costing methodologies.
