Our client, a global, industry-leading organization, is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join its finance team at its corporate headquarters in Westlake, Texas. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing U.S. international tax accounting, compliance, and strategic tax initiatives within a dynamic, multinational environment.

The ideal candidate is a technically strong tax professional who enjoys solving complex international tax challenges, partnering with cross-functional teams, and driving process improvements in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization.

This will appeal to tax professionals seeking their first manager role in tax in an in house corporate setting.

What You'll Do

Income Tax Accounting (ASC 740)

  • Lead the U.S. international quarterly and annual tax provision process in accordance with ASC 740.
  • Collaborate with global finance teams to review foreign tax provisions and ensure timely reporting.
  • Review tax accounts, temporary differences, uncertain tax positions, and valuation allowances.
  • Partner with external auditors and financial reporting teams on tax disclosures and audit support.
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls surrounding tax accounting processes.

U.S. International Tax & Planning

  • Manage key international tax calculations, including GILTI, Subpart F, BEAT, Foreign Tax Credits, and related provisions.
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors on U.S. international compliance filings, including Forms 5471, 8858, 1118, and related reporting.
  • Support transfer pricing documentation and planning initiatives.
  • Oversee OECD Pillar Two and Country-by-Country reporting compliance.
  • Participate in international tax planning projects, including legal entity restructuring, cash repatriation strategies, and tax optimization initiatives.
  • Monitor changes in U.S. and global tax legislation and assess business impacts.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Legal, and international business teams to support strategic decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve tax reporting, automation, data quality, and operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive corporate income tax experience, ideally combining public accounting and corporate experience.
  • Strong technical expertise in ASC 740 and U.S. international tax, including GILTI, Subpart F, FDII, Foreign Tax Credits, and BEAT.
  • Experience with tax provision software such as OneSource or CorpTax and ERP systems including Oracle or NetSuite.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with experience working across global teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA and/or Master's degree in Taxation.
  • Experience with CorpTax Provision.
