Logistics Coordinator
Location: Jacksonville, FL 32224
Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Temporary Assignment through the end of September

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support a leading transportation and logistics company in Jacksonville. In this temporary role, you will help maximize the utilization and revenue of the company's trailer fleet by researching asset performance, coordinating trailer repositioning, and communicating with drivers and internal teams to ensure equipment remains productive.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with customer service, logistics, or office experience who enjoys problem-solving, working with data, and communicating with drivers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Research historical data across multiple systems to identify underutilized trailer assets.
- Identify opportunities to reposition trailers to maximize fleet utilization and revenue.
- Communicate with drivers regarding trailer movements, load completion, and compensation for repositioning.
- Dispatch trailers and process payments related to equipment repositioning.
- Respond to inbound and outbound phone calls and emails from internal and external customers.
- Ensure company-owned trailers are continuously utilized by monitoring trailer availability and movement.
- Assist with Drug and Alcohol testing notifications as needed.
- Provide timely support to internal departments and external customers regarding trailer requests.
- Maintain accurate records and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 3 months of customer service experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, time management, and critical thinking skills.
- Self-motivated with a professional and customer-focused attitude.
Preferred:
- 6+ months of office or administrative experience.
- 6+ months of transportation, logistics, or dispatch experience.
- Call center or high-volume customer service experience.
