Night Shift Diagnostic Technician I

Location:  Florence, KY 41042

Assignment Length: 6-Month Contract

Rotating Schedule

1st Week: Thursday-Saturday, 6:00 PM-5:30 AM

2nd Week: Wednesday-Saturday, 6:00 PM-5:30 AM


Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Diagnostic Technicians to join a leading electronics manufacturing team in Florence, KY. In this role, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic circuit board assemblies at the component level while working in a fast-paced, high-tech production environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with electronics repair, PCB troubleshooting, manufacturing test, or technician experience looking to grow their skills with a global manufacturer.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair electronic circuit board assemblies to the component level
  • Troubleshoot opens, shorts, boundary scan failures, and other electronic defects
  • Operate electronic test and measurement equipment
  • Read and interpret schematics, Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and technical documentation
  • Utilize testing tools and diagnostic procedures to identify product failures
  • Partner with Test Engineering to improve diagnostic processes and repair efficiency
  • Maintain quality standards while meeting production goals
  • Follow all company safety, security, and manufacturing procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Experience troubleshooting or repairing electronic assemblies, circuit boards, or similar equipment
  • Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and assembly documentation
  • Familiarity with electronic testing and measurement equipment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working with computers and Windows-based software
  • Basic math skills, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and measurements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Electronics, manufacturing, military electronics, or technical training is a plus
