Ascendo Resources is partnering with a growing Firm to identify an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong business-to-business collections, exceptional data management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Location Availability: Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale or Miami 

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, cash applications, payment posting, and account reconciliations.
• Perform high-volume B2B collections while maintaining positive client relationships.
• Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding invoices to improve cash flow.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, unapplied payments, and customer account issues.
• Maintain accurate customer account records and large volumes of financial data.
• Prepare AR aging reports, collections reports, and account reconciliations for management.
• Partner with internal teams to resolve billing concerns and ensure timely collections.
• Assist with month-end close by preparing reconciliations and AR reporting.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Accounts Receivable and Collections experience.
• Strong experience with high-volume B2B collections.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, filtering, and reporting).
• Experience working with ERP or accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage large amounts of financial data while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
