This position is responsible for a variety of HR Generalist functions with an emphasis on employee relations and workplace investigations. This position also assists with performance management and compliance. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of two (2) years of current HR experience with a strong focus on Employee Relations, including progressive discipline, performance management, workplace investigations, and coaching in a corporate environment.

Working knowledge of employment laws, guidelines, and other applicable local, State, and Federal laws with the ability to apply this knowledge to employee relations decisions.

Strong experience drafting and reviewing employee relations documentation (disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, investigation summaries) with attention to accuracy, consistency, and legal/compliance considerations.

Proficiency in Excel (must know how to use IF statements, create complex formulas, perform VLOOKUP’s, countifs, conditional formatting, pivot tables, and reports.

Ability to think logically, establish and follow procedures, instructions, and make sound decisions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Managing the full lifecycle of employee relations matters, including issuing and reviewing disciplinary actions, supporting performance evaluations, coaching supervisors on employee performance concerns, and ensuring consistent application of company policies.

Support employee separations, including preparation of documentation, participation in termination processes, , and conducting exit interviews.

Handle employee complaints and concerns, ensuring timely, fair, and consistent resolution in alignment with company policies.

Assist with HR programs and cross-functional activities, including benefits coordination, workers’ compensation, and recruitment support as needed.

Responsible for reviewing disciplinary activity and for tracking employee relations metrics such as turnover, complaints, discipline, etc.

Support compliance initiatives, audits, and policy updates to ensure alignment with local, State, and Federal employment laws.

Track and analyze employee relations metrics, including turnover, disciplinary actions, and workplace concerns, and identify opportunities for improvement.
