We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support key accounting functions within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong general ledger experience who is interested in inventory accounting, cost analysis, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support inventory accounting, including cycle counts and variance analysis.
• Assist with cost accounting processes, including standard costing and manufacturing variance reviews.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with financial statement preparation.
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts.
• Partner with operations teams to analyze production costs and inventory movements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Salesforce, Rootstock, or similar).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of inventory and cost accounting.
• Experience with standard costing and variance analysis.
• Ability to work with high-volume data and inventory systems.
