We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee day-to-day financial operations and help ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the organization’s financial records.

This individual will play an important role in maintaining financial processes, supporting the accounting team, and ensuring established controls and procedures are consistently followed.

This is a fully onsite role in Sarasota, FL.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain accurate financial records and accounting processes
• Ensure financial activities remain compliant with applicable regulations and reporting requirements
• Coordinate with external auditors and serve as a primary contact throughout the audit process
• Review and analyze financial activity, transactions, and account information
• Monitor internal accounting procedures and controls to support accuracy and compliance
• Provide guidance and oversight to accounting personnel as needed
• Assist with identifying opportunities to strengthen financial processes and controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 6+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
• CPA is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze financial information and identify discrepancies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, leadership, and external partners
