Litigation Attorney (Revenue-Based Financing & Collections)
Location: Coconut Grove, FL (Onsite)
Salary: Starting at $120,000 annually + Quarterly Performance Bonus

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Litigation Attorney to join our growing legal team in Coconut Grove, Florida. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling matters involving revenue-based financing, commercial collections, loan servicing, defaults, summary judgment motions, and post-judgment enforcement. This role requires the ability to independently manage a high-volume litigation caseload from inception through final judgment and collection.
The successful candidate must be comfortable appearing in court, both virtually and in person, and possess strong negotiation, litigation, and case management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume portfolio of commercial litigation and collections matters.
- Handle cases involving revenue-based financing agreements, defaults, breaches of contract, and business-related disputes.
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal correspondence.
- Prepare and argue:
- Motions for Summary Judgment (MSJ)
- Default Motions
- Final Judgment Motions
- Post-Judgment Collection and Enforcement Proceedings
- Represent the company at hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials as necessary.
- Conduct virtual and in-person court appearances throughout Florida.
- Work closely with servicing, collections, and operations teams to develop litigation and recovery strategies.
- Negotiate settlements and payment arrangements while maximizing recovery outcomes.
- Monitor litigation timelines, deadlines, and case performance metrics.
- Coordinate with outside counsel when necessary.
- Travel quarterly to Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic to support legal and business initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing of the Florida Bar.
- Minimum of 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in:
- Revenue-Based Financing
- Commercial Litigation
- Business Collections
- Creditor Rights
- Loan Servicing and Default Enforcement
- Proven experience obtaining:
- Defaults
- Summary Judgments
- Final Judgments
- Post-Judgment Recovery
- Experience managing a high-volume caseload with minimal supervision.
- Strong courtroom advocacy and motion practice experience.
- Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to work onsite in Coconut Grove, Florida.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally on a quarterly basis.
Preferred
- Experience representing lenders, financing companies, merchants, or commercial creditors.
- Familiarity with collections and enforcement proceedings in multiple jurisdictions.
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.
- Current Utah Bar admission or willingness and ability to obtain licensure in Utah.
