Ascendo Resources is partnering with a rapidly growing, privately held, multi-location consumer business to hire an experienced Treasury Manager for its Miami-based finance team.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role responsible for overseeing the company's day-to-day treasury and accounts receivable functions while supporting continued expansion. The Treasury Manager will lead a small team and take ownership of cash management, banking activity, high-volume revenue reconciliations, payment processing, and liquidity reporting.
The ideal candidate brings strong treasury fundamentals, experience working in a high-volume, transaction-driven environment, and the ability to improve processes as the organization continues to scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of three accounting and treasury professionals, including both domestic and international team members.
- Oversee the Accounts Receivable function, including complex, high-volume daily revenue and cash reconciliations across multiple sales and payment channels.
- Manage daily cash positioning, bank activity, account reconciliations, and cash movement.
- Process, review, approve, and release high-value payments, including wire transfers and ACH transactions.
- Review weekly bank reconciliations and ensure discrepancies are researched and resolved promptly.
- Support cash forecasting and liquidity reporting to ensure adequate funding for ongoing operations and future growth.
- Coordinate treasury activities associated with the opening and integration of new business locations.
- Prepare and review weekly reporting of upcoming payments and cash requirements prior to final approval.
- Manage recurring bank reporting, including cash balances, withdrawals, deposits, and other transaction activity.
- Maintain strong treasury controls and help identify opportunities to improve, automate, and scale existing processes.
- Partner with Accounting, Finance, Operations, and senior leadership on cash management and other treasury-related initiatives.
Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of progressive experience in Treasury, Cash Management, Accounts Receivable, or a related finance / accounting function.
- Previous experience managing and developing direct reports.
- Strong knowledge of cash management, banking operations, wire transfers, ACH payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Experience reconciling high-volume daily transactions across multiple payment or third-party sales channels.
- Working knowledge of cash forecasting, liquidity planning, and cash flow reporting.
- Experience within a multi-location, high-growth, transaction-intensive organization is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Comfortable improving existing processes and building scalable procedures as the organization grows.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
- Must be able to work on-site Monday through Friday in the Miami area.
