Key Responsibilities
- Support parts sales and service operations to ensure customer requirements are handled accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare quotes, process purchase orders, coordinate shipments, and manage invoicing for spare parts.
- Identify parts accurately and provide customers with appropriate pricing and product information.
- Develop recommended spare parts lists based on customer and operational needs.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address questions or concerns.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving teams to ensure parts are received and shipped accurately and on time.
- Monitor freight and shipping expenses with a focus on controlling costs.
- Communicate with external vendors to obtain parts information, availability, pricing, and recommended spare parts lists.
- Maintain accurate records and support inventory-related sales activities through ERP systems.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the department.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience with an Associate degree in Business Administration, or 4+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous sales experience and a solid understanding of spare parts operations.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to identify parts and prepare accurate quotes.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities professionally.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Comfortable calculating discounts, commissions, percentages, proportions, ratios, and other business-related figures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including word processing and spreadsheets.
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics, SalesPad, or a comparable ERP/inventory management system.
