We are seeking an experienced Post-Construction Cleaning Project Manager to oversee cleaning projects from initial walkthrough through final turnover. This role is responsible for coordinating crews, managing schedules, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to client expectations.
The ideal candidate has experience in post-construction cleaning, commercial cleaning, construction, or facilities services and is comfortable managing multiple active job sites in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage post-construction cleaning projects from startup through final completion
- Conduct job site walkthroughs and determine labor, equipment, and supply requirements
- Schedule, coordinate, and supervise cleaning crews across multiple projects
- Ensure projects are properly staffed and completed according to established timelines
- Monitor job progress, productivity, and quality of work
- Perform quality-control inspections and manage punch-list items
- Coordinate directly with general contractors, superintendents, property managers, and clients
- Ensure crews follow job site safety requirements and company procedures
- Manage cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials for each project
- Address job site issues quickly and professionally
- Track labor hours, project costs, and overall job performance
- Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular updates to management
- Ensure completed projects meet company standards before final client walkthrough and turnover
Qualifications
- Previous experience in post-construction cleaning, commercial cleaning, construction, or a related field
- Project management or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Experience managing field crews and multiple job sites
- Strong understanding of construction job sites and project timelines
- Excellent organizational and scheduling skills
- Strong communication and client-service skills
- Ability to identify problems and make decisions quickly in the field
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a must
