Our client in Orlando, FL hiring for a Staff Accountant with QuickBooks or Sage experience. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organization and work closely with the CFO in a hands-on accounting role. This is a fully onsite, direct-hire opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports and analyze account variances.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting as needed.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Assist with audits and maintain accurate financial records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support day-to-day accounting operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3-5+ years of corporate accounting experience
• QuickBooks or Sage experience preffered 
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting
• Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail
