Position Overview
A Sarasota-area organization is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support its Claims Department on a temporary basis while an employee is on maternity leave.
The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable handling a high volume of calls and administrative tasks. This position requires strong communication skills, accurate data entry, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Answer and manage a high volume of incoming calls.
• Receive and process First Notice of Loss (FNOL) submissions.
• Review claims for completeness and accuracy.
• Enter and update claim information in company systems.
• Verify policy and loss of information.
• Communicate with adjusters, policyholders, vendors, and internal departments.
• Maintain accurate claim documentation and records.
• Identify missing or inconsistent information and obtain clarification when needed.
• Follow established procedures, service-level requirements, and quality standards.
• Provide general administrative support related to the claims process.
